Vintage Matching Pair of Silver Berber Anklets or BraceletsAn old pair of Berber rigid anklets from Tunisia or Algeria. They are locally known as Khalkhal or rdif and were worn traditionally both as anklets and as bracelets higher up on the arm. From the simplicity of the design, they were designed for day to day wear and not special occasions. These lovely anklets are hand engraved with geometric designs and have wider rectangular finials. Though unmarked, they test positive for silver on a scratch test.
