MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Lopsided, but works

It's soft and good cat size. The bottom stuffing is uneven, so it leans a lot, no matter how I rotate it for the cat to try to even it out.
But the old cat loves it, especially since it's positioned in a perfect spot; a "corner" by a hallway, so it feels safe, while letting the cat see everything from that out of the way vantage point. I've been trying to get him to use beds again (had to throw some out b/c he gets seizures which can result in loss of bladder control). It only took a few days for him to "discover" the new bed, and start adding it to his nap rotations. and he looks so cute in it.
