This unit like all the slicers & other equipment goes through a full span of tests to insure that the unit you receive is in excellent working condition. This unit may have some small scratches firm normal use but they in no way effect the functionality of the unit. They began by testing the motor and blades to make sure they are working effectively and consistently. After that, the indexer is tested to verify it is adjusting properly.
