The Flex HT is miniDSP’s answer to our customers looking for a pocket sized multichannel processor with HDMI ARC/eARC capabilities . Our team was able to cram a full eight channels of DSP power and a wide range of I/O into the unbelievably compact enclosure.
Eight-channel audio input is via eARC linear PCM over HDMI, or USB Audio. Additional stereo input is supported over SPDIF and TOSLINK optical. Internally, we’ve provided a full suite of miniDSP flexible’s routing and audio processing features: bass management, parametric EQ, crossovers, advanced biquad programming and delay/gain adjustments. In addition, the miniDSP Flex HT is software-upgradable with full-frequency Dirac Live®, the world’s premiere room correction system.
The eight-channel analog RCA outputs feature class-leading low noise and distortion figures. Last but not least, the Flex HT is miniDSP's first product to include WiSA (“Wireless Speaker and Audio Association”) capability as an optional feature(future). WiSA is designed specifically for low-latency multichannel audio – a perfect match for the Flex HT. The WiSA transmitter will allow lossless transmit of all eight output channels to WiSA-compatible speakers and subwoofers. Note that WISA feature will be a hardware option on future shipments (ETA Q1 2024) and isn't included at this point of time.
The miniDSP Flex HT is the perfect solution for a modern compact processor for home theatre and multichannel sound. You just need to let your creativity do the rest!
REMINDER: Please note that the Flex HT does not support bitstream (e.g. Dolby/DTS) decoding. The audio source must be able to output linear PCM (LPCM) for multichannel support over HDMI.

- HDMI EARC/ARC interface for multichannel audio in PCM. Note that Flex HT doesn't support bistream format (Dolby/DTS encoded).
- Optional WISA (Future option / ETA Q1 2024): Multichannel (8ch) low latency, synchronized, Wireless audio. Compatible with compliant Wisa speakers.
- Optional upgrade to Dirac Live® 3.x Digital Room Correction, Multichannel (8ch) Full Range Room Correction (20~20kHz)
- Audiophile performance with very low noise floor and distortion (SNR @128dB(A), THD+N @ -111dB (0.0003%)
- Inputs: Stereo digital (SPDIF/Optical), Multichannel USB Audio streaming (up to 7.1)
- Outputs: 8 channels audio duplicated to unbalanced (RCA) and WISA Wireless audio.
- White/Black OLED front panel controller with IR control
- Control and configuration by miniDSP Device Console (DC)

Optional Items
NOTE: The UMIK-1/2 are measurement microphones approved by Dirac Research. Knowing the major effect a wrong calibration/measurement would have on the final results of Dirac Live tuning, we strongly recommend that you select a UMIK-1/2 microphone together with your platform for a plug&play experience leading to best results. Any issues related to 3rd party microphones such as ASIO/USB audio driver incompatibility/Latency problems or incorrect calibration process will not be under our support structure by our support team.
