Product description

Experience the pure essence of nature with Luisa’s Raw Certified Organic Forest Honey – a rich, deep-flavoured honey sourced from the wild, forested regions of Northern Spain. Harvested in the remote Cantabrian Mountains and Asturias, this honey is created by bees that feed on the nectar of Oak, Chestnut, and wildflowers such as Blackberry. The result is a full-bodied, molasses-like taste with a pomegranate-like tang and an indulgent aroma of sticky toffee pudding.

Unlike mass-produced honey, this premium-quality raw honey is cold pressed, unpasteurised, and coarse-filtered to retain its full range of natural enzymes, pollens, and antibacterial properties. Rich in oligosaccharides, it supports gut health by acting as a natural prebiotic. Known for its high fructose content, forest honey provides a quick energy boost while maintaining a smooth, thick texture that resists crystallisation longer than other honey types.

Produced by Luisa & Olaya, a dedicated mother-daughter beekeeping duo, this honey is carefully harvested using traditional, ethical methods that preserve the purity and potency of each jar. No additives, no heat treatments—just pure honey as nature intended.

Perfect for sweetening teas, drizzling over desserts, enhancing meat glazes, or enjoying straight from the spoon, this organic honey is a versatile addition to any kitchen. If crystallisation occurs, simply place the jar on a warm radiator with a tea towel draped over it to gently restore its smooth, runny consistency.

At The Raw Honey Shop, we are committed to bringing you only the finest raw honey, sourced directly from small-scale beekeepers who share our passion for unprocessed, natural honey. Taste the difference with Luisa’s Raw Organic Forest Honey—nature’s golden treasure in every spoonful.

Great Story about Native Americans before Europeans
Format: Paperback
I read this book with my kids (11,8) as part of our unit on Native Americans before colonization. They both really enjoyed it. It helped to humanize history for them and show them that although the cultural practices were different, the characters experienced some of the same feelings, relationship challenges, and personal struggles and triumphs that we experience today.

Wonderful book about pre-European North America
Format: Paperback
This is a great book. There's a massive shortage of children's books written by Natives, especially ones that give a picture of pre-European America, and if you've noticed that, THIS IS THE BOOK YOU'RE LOOKING FOR to fill that hole in your home school curriculum/child's library. It's a "boy book," but my seven year old girl got through it without any complaints except that she wanted me to read ahead so I could tell her if anything scary happened. I would say that the plot is a little slow, the main story pauses a lot for background information or traditional stories. But that's not really a complaint, I don't think it's even worth taking off one star. Almost anything by Joseph Bruchac is worth your money, and this one is no exception.

Great book!
Format: Hardcover
My kids love this book. It's not a super long book but long enough to give a fun storyline. Puts a fun spin on cupid.
