Orange French Toast

Thick slices of texas toast are soaked in a french toast custard that includes fresh orange zest and orange juice and then are layered in the pan. Thick slices of texas toast are soaked in a french toast custard that includes fresh orange zest and orange juice and then are layered in the pan. • Hands on time: 0 minutes
  Cooking time: 30-45 minutes

• Thaw in refrigerator for best results.  Preheat oven to 375F.

   

  Bake uncovered on a cookie sheet for 30-35 minutes (round pan) or 40-45 minutes (rectangular pan) until lightly browned and cooked through.  Let sit for 10 minutes on wire cooling rack or trivet.  To serve, either invert/flip the pan onto a cookie sheet or platter, or slice into individual servings and then flip/ invert the serving before putting it on a plate. Add a side of fresh fruit and coffee and you’re done!
