Pale straw with a slight green hue to the edge, displaying the fresh, vibrant character of this exceptional 2024 South Australian Chardonnay from 74% Padthaway and 26% Clare Valley.
Aroma
Delightful aromas of white peach, nectarines and subtle citrus zest join hints of cashew and cream. The aromatic profile reflects the barrel fermentation and 9 months maturation in French oak (between 2 and 6 years old).
Palate
Fresh flavours of stone fruit combine with cashews and an underlying toastiness from the barrel fermentation to deliver a mouth-filling, enjoyable wine. It has a clean, elegant palate, a zesty acid backbone and long, persistent finish.
