These spacers are specifically designed to fit around the back side of the tensioner, to allow for more surface area to bite on. This will eliminate any possibility of the pulley denting in on the backside from over tightening. These spacers now come standard in all of our 06A 1. 8T mechanical timing belt tensioner kits. These are made in house, on our CNC
