The IP40 Surface Box 1x12 MOD with a transparent window from the COMBI series is a high-quality surface distribution box designed for indoor installations in the tertiary and residential sector. The use of halogen-free plastic materials ensures safety and durability of the product.
The base of the box has reinforced inner walls to prevent deformation, and knock-outs on the top and bottom sides with standard metric diameters for cable and pipe entry. The side walls also have knock-outs to facilitate cable passage between joined boxes. The arrow on the bottom of the base indicates the correct box position, ensuring power dissipates inside the enclosure in accordance with regulations. The base is also fitted with supports for attaching neutral and earth bars, as well as the housings for attaching the DIN rail.
Wall-mounting of the box is performed with four screws from the housings located at the bottom of the base covered with hermetic caps for maintaining the degree of protection and dielectric strength.
The frame-base assembly of the box is easily opened and closed by using clips on the top and bottom sides of the enclosure. The box is definitively closed by means of four screws in the housings located inside the window gap. The 4-module box has a special closure that seals the box, which requires the 25975 sealable kit to be ordered separately.
