Description:

These DK+ throw overboard type life rafts are stowed in a rigid fiberglass container and are approved by DNV in accordance with SOLAS/MED requirements and the relevant flag state approval.
They are supplied with emergency pack Solas A, and come in a square or round fiberglass container.

The 4, 6 and 8 person throw overboard life rafts are mainly used for commercial vessels, fishing vessels, or offshore installations.

The throw overboard life raft is released from its cradle and thrown overboard, or slides automatically when released. Once waterborne the life raft inflates with a hard pull of the painter line and is then ready for boarding.

Approved in accordance with SOLAS LSA-Code, DMA (Denmark), EC Directive 96/98/EC and USCG
