Kenmerken van Laguiole Jean Dubost:
- Het bestek van Laguiole Jean Dubost wordt gemaakt van hoogwaardige materialen. Er worden veel natuurlijke materialen gebruikt zoals olijfhout, eikenhout, parelmoer en ossenhoorn. Voor het mes zelf wordt er Sandvik staal gebruikt. Dit staal zorgt ervoor dat het mes makkelijk te slijpen is en lang scherp blijft. Ideaal om ervoor te zorgen dat je je vlees makkelijk snijdt.
- Het Laguiole bestek staat erg bekend om zijn insectvormige icoon. Over wat het icoontje inhoud bestaan 2 theorieën: Het ontwerp zou een bij moeten voorstellen dat Napoleon Bonaparte uitreikte aan zijn moedige soldaten. De kans dat dit de goede theorie is is erg klein, omdat de “bij” op het Laguiole mes pas werd geïntroduceerd toen Napoleon al meer dan 100 jaar dood was. Wat ook zou kunnen is dat het symbool een vlieg is. De smeden zelf gebruiken deze term. Hier zit echter geen betekenis achter. De vlieg zou alleen dienen om de duim te laten rusten op het gedeelte boven de springveer.
Specificaties:
Deze authentieke trancheerset is gemaakt in Frankrijk. Het mes en de vork hebben een staaldikte van 2,5 mm. De handvatten zijn mooi slank en liggen daardoor fijn in de hand.
deze trancheerset bestaat uit een vlees mes en vleesvork. Beide zijn gemaakt van een Afrikaans Wengé houten handvat en een roestvrijstaal lemmet. De staaldikte is 2,5 mm en scherp geslepen. Hierdoor kun je gemakkelijk al je gerechten snijden.
De handvatten van deze set zijn vervaardigd van wengé hout met zijn herkenbare donkere kleur en zwarte nerven. Het Wengé hout komt uit Afrika en heeft een warme en klassieke uitstraling. De natuurlijke schoonheid van het hout voegt een vleugje warmte en stijl toe aan je keukengerei. De set is niet geschikt voor in de vaatwasser.

A masterfully written, stunning, gothic romance!

Lucian Blackthorne . . . my, my, my. Be still my romantic, sinful, dark heart. This male lead is one of the most addicting, flawed, sensual, erotic characters I've ever read. fanning myself I loved his dark, thrill-seeking, possessive, obsessive, carnal nature. Seriously, where can I find one?
I digress. Lucian is a scarred man with secrets but that's only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. He's layered as deeply as an onion and it's addicting to peel back each one. He's a rich, powerful alpha male but there's so much to the man the town refers to as the Devil of Bonesalt. He's marked by loss, lies, a painful past, and the shadows of his choices in life. The Blackthorne name bears tragedy, turmoil, and an affiliation with the macabre.
Isadora is a strong female lead. She's young but her life hasn't been easy. She's flawed, haunted by the past, and as much an outcast as her new employer, the enigmatic, elusive Lucian Blackthorne. Her new position brings her into the fold, learning the darkness, deceit, sadness, and crimes elicited against the Blackthorne family. REVIEW: This book follows Isa who lives with her aunt on an island. Isa begins a new job as a caretaker for the dark, and mysterious Blackthorne family. A family who is disliked and even feared by the rest of the inhabitants of the island. However, as she grows closer to the man who they call the devil, Lucian Blackthorne, Isa sees for herself what the truth of Blackthorne manor really is.
This book is a dark romance! Originally I was told it was fantasy, which I don’t agree with at all. It is more of an erotic, gothic feel with some mystery sprinkled in. The plot was very interesting and kept me intrigued. This book was also quite steamy, however, I felt those scenes were well done and didn’t take away from the rest of the book.
Overall, the content in this book is quite dark and the backstories of the characters involve potentially triggering matters. Be aware to look these up if you feel like you need to. Overall, this is the first book I have read by Keri Lake, and I am excited to read more.

i couldn’t put this book down for anything .
this book gives beauty & the beast / phantom of the opera vibes with a lot more going on . Lucian hires Isadora to help take care of his mom, not his nurse but a companion for her . Isadora has a painful past & she’s willing to do anything to get out of town to make some money , even if that means working for a guy with a thousand bad rumors about him . the way Lucian talks to Isadora is like he’s speaking poetry without even trying . the wording & quotes in this book were chiefs kiss . the spice in this book was gold 🔥 the plot of this book is super original & sooooo twisty . i think there were 5 different twists at the end & i had my jaw on the floor at all of them .
literally obsessed with this book . the writing was beautifully done 🫶🏼
this is my first book by Keri & i will now be ordering more from her immediately🖤

So Worth the Read
Format: Audiobook
I absolutely loved this book. The pacing was great, the characters felt real, and the story kept me hooked the entire time.
There were a few moments that genuinely surprised me, and I appreciated how everything came together at the end. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Dark Romance/ Gothic Fiction
