Door de theebladeren op hogere temperatuur te roosteren, ontstaat een warme, nootachtige aroma met een zachte, milde vegetal finish zonder bitterheid.

Vakmanschap van een derde generatie theeboer
Deze matcha wordt verbouwd op een kleinschalige familieboerderij, gerund door de ervaren theeproducent Mr. Kanmoto en zijn vrouw. De mineraalrijke kleigrond draagt bij aan de diepe smaak en het intense aroma van de thee.

Traditioneel steengemalen
Waar steenmolen vroeger met de hand werd gedraaid, gebeurt dit nu machinaal om een constante kwaliteit te waarborgen. De theebladeren worden langzaam vermalen tussen granieten stenen, waardoor de warmte de smaak en aroma’s op natuurlijke wijze naar voren brengt. Dit proces levert een matcha met een rijke, volle smaak die met andere maaltechnieken niet te evenaren is.
