Pu-erh thee wordt gemaakt van de theestruik Camellia sinensis en komt oorspronkelijk uit de Chinese provincie Yunnan. Camellia sinensis is dus dezelfde theestruik waarvan groene thee gemaakt wordt. Het grote verschil tussen groene thee en pu-erh thee is het fermentatieproces.
Wat pu-erh thee zo bijzonder maakt is het fermentatieproces. De thee wordt na het oogsten namelijk lange tijd gerijpt onder hoge luchtvochtigheid. Dit is anders dan groene thee, die na het plukken van de theeblaadjes alleen gedroogd wordt. Door het rijpen onder hoge luchtvochtigheid blijf er voldoende vocht en enzymen aanwezig voor fermentatie. Bij fermentatie zorgen schimmels en bacteriën voor het omzetten van stoffen in een product waardoor de geur, smaak of uiterlijk verandert.
Door het unieke fermentatieproces ontstaat de donkerrode kleur van de thee en de karakteristieke smaak. Pu-erh thee staat bekend om een volle, rijke en aardse tonen. De fermentatie kan maanden tot jaren duren. Hoe ouder de thee, hoe zachter de smaak.

Maltodextrine, tetralose, citroenaroma, rode thee-extract (Camellia sinensis), antiklontermiddel: siliciumdioxide, hibiscusextract (Hibiscus sabdarifa), L-carnitine tartraat, CLA (geconjugeerd linolzuur), zoetstof: sucralose.

This product actually lives up to the title of indestructible.

This is the only toy I've had which my dog hasn't destroyed in minutes. I have had a few others that will at least last a few months, but Kong extreme has held up over the years. I like the fact that I can stuff it with treats, bits of other "indestructible" toys and seal it up with peanut butter, then pop it in the freezer to give her an extra 15 minute challenge. I have a couple so I can clean one while she's busy with the other. This size seems to be the best for a ~90lb. dog, the large end being roughly the same size as a tennis ball, which she loves as well.

Great product but choose a size or two up

Nice quality toy for long lasting and engaging play! One star docked for the sizing—I don't usually expect to need an xl anything for my 45lb border collie but he cant even fit his canine teeth into the large size to ease the jerky reward out in "hard" position but "easy" position he doesn't even tough the toy just grabs the jerky. Got an XL and it has been great for the jerky both easy and hard positioning. The larges I keep around for liquidy and frozen treats to keep the mess contained and they work very well for that.

Truly for Aggressive Chewers

Excellent product for aggressive chewers. The black Kong doesn't last forever BUT it is the most reliable toy I've used with my 60# pitt mix. I've returned so many toys that were advertised as for this girl's level of enthusiasm that I no longer buy anything else.

Excellent tug toy!
Size: Large Triple, Size: Large Triple
My dog had this set of 3 interlocking rings for 7 years and they finally broke. I was so happy to be able to get a replacement set that is just as durable as the original! Just ask our Gretzky to, “get your rings” and she knows exactly what to find. She can tug these for an hour and not lose interest. She loves them. They are the perfect size for her to grab comfortably and for her human playmate to hold onto the other ring in opposition. Gretzky is half Boxer, about 85lbs and all muscle. For her first set to withstand years of tugging without breaking was surprising but they’re made well and as long as you don’t allow your dog to just sit and chew them, they’ll give you years of tugging playtime!
