Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc is een frisse witte wijn uit Marlborough, een beroemde regio in Nieuw-Zeeland. Deze wijn wordt gemaakt van Sauvignon Blanc-druiven die groeien in wijngaarden die profiteren van koele nachten en een verkoelende zeebries. Na de handmatige oogst vindt de vergisting plaats op lage temperatuur om de fruitige aroma’s te behouden. De wijn rijpt daarna kort op gistcellen, wat zorgt voor extra smaakdiepte en een mooie structuur.

De wijn opent met levendige geuren van passievrucht, citrus en een subtiele kruidigheid van citroengras en basilicum. In de mond proef je een mix van fris wit fruit, venkel en een verkwikkende, lange afdronk. Deze Sauvignon Blanc is perfect als aperitief en gaat uitstekend samen met lichte visgerechten zoals zalm, coquilles of sushi.
