The PowerConnect™ 6224 delivers a comprehensive feature set with superb performance for the small to medium enterprise. This 24-port Gigabit Ethernet Layer 3 switch is stackable and offers optional 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks and supports the latest version of the Internet Protocol—IPv6—enabling broader worldwide scalability. The PowerConnect™ 6224 offers Enterprise class availability with failover times that provide for sub-250ms failover of any stacked switch, including master failure under all configurations. Furthermore, high performance stacking is supported for up to twelve systems, and advanced security and Quality of Service (QoS) features make this switch ideal for applications such as Voice over IP, Layer 3 routing, High Performance Cluster Computing (HPCC), and iSCSI storage. Advanced monitoring functions include sflow support, SNMP capabilities and a full GUI interface with graphical reporting. In the event of a switch failure, high availability functions maintain traffic flow in the stack, including mission-critical voice and storage sessions. High Density
Delivering significant rack density, the PowerConnect 6224 is designed to give users the flexibility to maximize server and workstation connectivity in a 1U form factor. Up to 576 servers and/or clients can be connected in a stack of twelve 62xx series switches to provide the maximum density, flexibility and manageability. And the stack is built on a 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet switch.

The PowerConnect 6224 switch supports up to four 10 Gigabit fiber (SFP+) & two 10GBase-T copper Ethernet uplinks for connectivity directly to 10GE servers, routers, enterprise backbones and data centers.

Advanced Layer 3 Capabilities
The PowerConnect 6224 supports advanced Layer 3 routing and multicast protocols to help reduce congestion and manage traffic in the network. Frequently used LAN routing protocols such as RIPv1/v2, OSPFv2/v3, VRRP, IGMP, DVMRP, PIM and LLDP-MED are also supported.
Advanced QoS
The PowerConnect 6224 offers flexibility in QoS by giving network administrators the ability to prioritize time-critical network traffic based on a variety of user-defined criteria. Administrators can expedite traffic based on L2 or L3 information, such as IP QoS, and provide greater control over traffic flow within the network. Voice virtual LANs (VLANs) are provided specifically for voice over IP (VoIP) applications.
Advanced Security
Access Control Lists (ACLs) can be supported on the switch, allowing the user to perform deep packet inspection. 802.1x port authentication offers both single and multiple host access, including a captive portal option for guest access. Further security is provided through Denial of Service (DoS) Attack Prevention, whereby the switch can help protect against common network attacks and CPU attacks.
IPv6 Certified
IPv6 is version six of the Internet Protocol that has been in development for over 20 years. IPv6 has been designed to address IP address limitations of previous versions of the Internet Protocol, enabling an increased number of unique IP addresses for broader scalability worldwide now and in the future.

Incredible battery life, effective cleaning, a whole years worth of brush heads!
This is the mac-daddy of electric toothbrushes! I would even use it as an adult, it's that good! The designers of the Vekkia Sonic Rechargeable Kids Electric Toothbrush put a lot of thought into this toothbrush and have knocked it out of the park. The things I like most are:
* The battery life. The battery life on this toothbrush is unheard of! It's been a over a month and we have charged it once. This is the perfect feature to take this toothbrush while traveling!
* The timer. The timer makes it so that my kids know to keep going until the timer goes off, and I don't have to keep saying, "Not yet, get every tooth, you haven't brushed long enough."
* The adjustable cleaning modes. One of my kids is sensitive to the vibration on their teeth, so they won't use electric toothbrushes; however, with multiple settings, it is gentle enough to not bother them, and adjustable to a stronger vibration for my kids who don't mind it. And I have peace of mind that no matter which one they choose, their teeth are being cleaned properly.
* The size of the heads. The heads are small enough that the toothbrush fits comfortably between their gums/teeth and their cheek. Some of them are so big that it is uncomfortable and hard to use, especially on the back teeth. This toothbrush is designed for an effective and comfortable brushing experience.
* This toothbrush is durable. Unfortunately our toothbrush has been dropped onto our tile, and knocked off the counter once. Fortunately, this toothbrush was designed for kids, understanding accidents can happen, and it endured all of that without any cracks, dings, or signs of a fall.
* The price. Dentists recommend replacing your toothbrush every three months. While $15.99 (at the time of this review) may initially seem high, you are getting four brush heads. This is an entire year's worth for less than $16.
What I would change:
* I would love for VEKKIA to make electric toothbrushes for adults with these same features so my spouse doens't wonder why I am using a dinosaur toothbrush haha!

Good value and good quality toothbrush.
This is a rechargeable electric sonic toothbrush. This toothbrush is aimed at kids with a rocket dinosaur design. This toothbrush has a two minute timer and has a reminder every 30 seconds for each quadrant of your mouth. This has three different modes for power and is waterproof with a long battery life. This also comes with four brush heads and this comes very presentable and attractive to the eye. This would make a great gift and this makes brushing a lot of fun for the younger crowd. This toothbrush feels like it's a good quality and seems to be made very well. This has a good durability and feels like it would last a long time. This is super easy to use, as you simply charge it and turn it on, pick your mode, and brush, Giving this a good functionality. The timer is a great reminder and this is charged on the bottom that is covered with rubber plug. This can not be charged in the base and the base is not a charger.
The value on this is very good this is not expensive and this is made very well for the price this would also make a great gift giving this a very good value in my opinion and at the time of this review.
Overall, this Sonic electric toothbrush for kids is fantastic This is great for the kids to get into brushing and could work for them up into their early pre-teen years. I would have no issues recommending this.
