- NiQuitin Minizuigtablet helpt u bij het stoppen met roken doordat het u een deel van de nicotine geeft die u anders via sigaretten binnenkrijgt. - Deze nicotine verlicht een aantal van de onplezierige verschijnselen die kunnen optreden bij mensen die proberen te stoppen met roken, zoals een ziek gevoel of prikkelbaarheid. - De nicotine kan ook het verlangen naar een sigaret verlichten en u helpen de drang om een sigaret te pakken te weerstaan.

Te gebruiken als hulpmiddel bij het stoppen met roken.
Niet gebruiken bij
- allergisch bent voor een van de stoffen in dit geneesmiddel. - jonger dan 12 jaar of een niet-roker bent.

Werkzame bestanddelen
Iedere NiQuitin Minizuigtablet 4 mg zuigtablet bevat 4 mg nicotine (in de vorm van een harscomplex, genaamd nicotineresinaat).
Hulpstoffen
mannitol (E421), natriumalginaat (E401), xanthaan gum (E415), kaliumbicarbonaat (E501), calcium polycarbophil, natriumcarbonaat anhydraat (E500), kalium acesulfaam (E950), mint smaakstof, sucralose (E955), magnesiumstearaat (E470b).
Dosering
Volwassenen (18 jaar en ouder): • Begin met 8 tot 12 zuigtabletten per dag. Neem steeds wanneer u trek hebt in een sigaret een zuigtablet. • Gebruik de zuigtabletten op deze manier gedurende maximaal 6 weken en verlaag vervolgens geleidelijk het aantal zuigtabletten dat u dagelijks inneemt. • Wanneer u nog slechts 1 of 2 zuigtabletten per dag gebruikt, kunt u helemaal met het gebruik van de zuigtabletten stoppen.
Aanwijzigingen voor gebruik
Neem zuigtablet wanneer behoefte aan roken. Na 6 weken beginnen met afbouwen dosering. Bij gebruik van nog maar 1-2 zuigtabletten per dag, stoppen met het gebruik. Niet langer dan 9 maanden gebruiken zonder advies arts.

An excellent book...a must read!

Ruthie Gilmore's examination of California's prison-industrial complex paints a sobering portrait of the effects of the state's post-industrial decline in the past quarter century. Supplemented by numerous charts, maps, and statistics, Gilmore argues that the massive prison-building project that began in the early 1980s was rooted in earlier developments, namely the failure of the "welfare-warfare state" to absorb the numerous surpluses created by political and economic restructuring. Combining theory and historical-sociological analysis, this highly readable book is at once depressing and optimistic; it lays out the facts and guidelines for pursuing meaningful, antiracist struggles against the systemic dehumanization of immigrants, low-wage workers, and youths of color that continues to characterize U.S. political culture.
