The narrative loses a little steam when it comes to the escape from the Boston gaol, but that doesn’t detract from the historically accurate depiction of these infamous trials. The details have been well researched, and the book’s production values are excellent. I would recommend this to any school children who want to gain some insight into how the witch trials came about, or any parents who want to learn a little about the dark side of our puritan ancestors.
