Met deze wijn laat Joseph Mellot zien waartoe het in staat is. Wat het daadwerkelijk kan. En dat is fantastische wijnen maken. Voor deze wijn, worden de oudste druivenstokken gebruikt in het Sancerre gebied. Juist deze Sauvignon Blanc druiven geven veel kracht en finesse in deze koningswijn van de Loire. Wat Joseph Mellot La Grande Chatelaine Sancerre nog meer bijzonder maakt, is dat hij alleen in extreem goede jaren wordt geproduceerd. De oogst geschied geheel handmatig, want alleen de allerbeste trossen mogen gebruikt worden voor Joseph Mellot La Grande Chatelaine Sancerre. De vinificatie duurt maar liefst 7 maanden. Vervolgens krijgt deze Sancerre van Joseph Mellot nog een houtlagering van minimaal 20 maanden op eikenhouten vaten. Het proces van deze wijn, maakt ons dorstig. Een bijzonder glas wijn, waar wij niet op kunnen wachten. Schenk Joseph Mellot La Grande Chatelaine Sancerre en laat je neus het werk doen. Wauw, wauw, wauw. Een aantrekkelijke geur verleid je helemaal. Je ruikt ananas, peer, sinaasappel en citrus. Een toets vanille is aanwezig door de lange houtlagering. Je neemt een slok. Nou, als dit geen top Sancerre wijn is, dan weten wij het ook niet meer. Joseph Mellot La Grande Chatelaine Sancerre heeft intense aroma's van citrus, sinaasappel, kokos en toast. Fantastic plates!

These plates were huge--perfect for the Thanksgiving feast. The plates were sturdy and held up to the weight of the food. Even others in attendance commented on how good the plates were and that they were big enough to hold larger portions which meant people didn't have to go back for seconds. Strong Enough for BBQ Ribs, Pasta & Everything in Between!

These Dixie Ultra paper plates are truly the heavyweight champs of disposable dinnerware. I grabbed them for a backyard BBQ, expecting the usual paper plate struggle—but these held up like actual dinner plates.
