Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K LF 100G Body

This body only configuration represents the most advanced expression of the URSA Cine platform, engineered for productions that demand uncompromising image quality, speed and flexibility. At its core is a large format RGBW sensor measuring approximately 35.6 by 23.3 millimetres, delivering an extraordinary 12K resolution with up to 16 stops of dynamic range. The RGBW architecture uses equal red, green and blue sampling combined with white pixels to achieve exceptional colour fidelity, improved low light performance and smoother tonal reproduction across the entire image. 

The camera is designed to operate equally well as a digital film camera and as a live production system. Integrated 100G Ethernet enables direct SMPTE 2110 IP video workflows, allowing uncompressed live output at extremely high frame rates. When paired with the optional B4 mount, the system can deliver live images at frame rates up to 440 frames per second, making it particularly powerful for sports, replay and high speed broadcast applications. 

Interchangeable lens mount support allows rapid adaptation to different production styles. The supplied PL mount can be swapped for EF, LPL or B4 mounts, enabling compatibility with a wide range of cinema, photographic and broadcast lenses. Built in motorised ND filters with clear, 2 stop, 4 stop and 6 stop options provide fast exposure control without altering depth of field or shutter angle, an essential feature for both narrative and live environments. 

Monitoring and control are handled through multiple high brightness displays, including a five inch capacitive touchscreen for menus and status, as well as support for external electronic viewfinders and USB C monitors. The body integrates professional connections such as SDI outputs, analogue and digital audio inputs, timecode and reference, along with LEMO and Fischer connectors for accessories and remote control. High speed internal media support and network based workflows allow direct recording, file sharing and cloud synchronisation without external recorders.
