Kwaliteit
Saffraan wordt vanwege haar kostbaarheid wel het ‘rode goud’ genoemd. De hoge grondstofprijs zorgt er helaas voor dat er ook saffraan van inferieure kwaliteit op de markt wordt aangeboden. De herkomst, productiemethode en zuiverheid van saffraan is doorslaggevend voor de kwaliteit en werkzaamheid ervan.
Saffraan-LCS Biologisch (wat staat voor Lepticrosalides®, zie verderop) bevat het hoogwaardige extract Affron®. Zowel de teelt van de onbespoten, biologische saffraan als de vervaardiging van het saffraanextract vinden plaats bij producent Pharmactive in Spanje. Omdat de gehele productieketen in eigen beheer is, kan gezorgd worden voor de ideale kweekomstandigheden en kan de kwaliteit gegarandeerd worden. De producent laat bovendien (niet voor niets!) door een externe partij DNA-testen doen op hun saffraan als extra bevestiging dat Affron® vervaardigd is uit 100% echte saffraan.
Gepatenteerde extractiemethode en samenstelling
Uit de zuivere grondstof wordt via een speciaal ontwikkelde extractiemethode een extract verkregen dat gestandaardiseerd is op 3,5% Lepticrosalides®, een gepatenteerd complex van de belangrijkste werkzame stoffen in saffraan (zoals safranal, crocine en picrocrocine). Een juiste analysemethode is van groot belang om de werkzame stoffen in een saffraanextract goed te meten en geen vertekend beeld te krijgen. Het is vrij uniek in de saffraanwereld dat voor Affron® gebruik wordt gemaakt van de HPLC-analysemethode (High Performance Liquid Chromatography).
Biologisch
De actieve ingrediënten van biologische voedingssupplementen zijn gegarandeerd van natuurlijke oorsprong en niet synthetisch gefabriceerd. Daarnaast wordt bij de productie zoveel mogelijk rekening gehouden met milieu, dier en mens. In allerlei voorschriften is vastgelegd wat daaronder wordt verstaan. Er worden onder andere geen chemische bestrijdingsmiddelen, kunstmest of genetisch gemodificeerde organismen gebruikt. Het instituut Skal Biocontrole controleert of de voorschriften worden nageleefd en of een product biologisch genoemd mag worden. Biologische producten zijn herkenbaar aan de code NL-BIO-01 en het Europees biologisch keurmerk.

Great Chair and Outstanding Customer Service

I desperately needed a new office chair. I ordered this chair with the mesh seat and it spike up my sciatica. I reached out to the company and Alice took great care to address the issue. She sent me a new seat with a foam cushion and it resolved the issue immediately. The chair is incredibly comfortable with the lumbar support, adjustability and foot support. She also sent me upgraded wheels as my chair is on a thin chair mat on hard wood floors. Alice was extremely responsive with possible options and very thorough with instructions on how to replace the seat. It is a high quality chair that I anticipate will last me quite some time. I highly recommend this company and will definitely order products from them again should the need arise. Thank you, Alice!!

Great value and great customer experience

I'm sure there are a lot of high quality chairs out there and this is one of them. For me, what sets this one apart is the customer experience from unboxing and assembly to customer care. The chair came in a surprisingly small box. To my surprise, the parts were wrapped in foam and then again in a high quality foil/foam packing material. Everything was well protected, densely packed, yet easy to unpack and locate the parts.
The assembly process was straight forward as you might expect, but the attention to detail is remarkable. For example, the screws have thread lock (a dab of the blue "goo" to keep them from coming loose). Another example is the Allen wrench they give you. It isn't a cheap L-shaped wrench. It's a T-bar with a good sized handle. The parts all have slotted screw holes to give some tolerance in lining up the screws and a little bit of adjustment room. The instructions even showed how to use the box as a bench of sorts. You can tell the designers really thought about the assembly process.
The chair came with a tag offering a free "upgraded foam seat protector cover" by sending them an email. Not only did they send one, the email response was from a human (I'm 99% positive) that asked how I liked the chair. I honestly responded that I like the arms to go down lower than this chair allows and said I might modify it. We exchanged a few messages about it and they ended up sending me some washers/spacers. It now fits my frame perfectly. Not only that, they offered to send me a different set of wheels that are more suitable for my flooring, which I took them up on. I didn't even ask!
In summary, I am extremely happy with this chair and the company I bought it from. It is a fantastic value.

Great Chair! Worth the Price!

LOVE my new desk chair! I got the Sky Blue which is a really pretty blue in person. I work from home in tech, and had been getting constant headaches no matter what position I was in. I finally decided to invest in a better desk chair, and I'm SO glad I did! It's much more supportive and comfortable. I really like that I can flip the arms up or down, and the height is easy to adjust. Also, because I can flip the arms up, I can keep the chair out of the way when I'm not working by putting it right up against the desk. Very much worth the price! Assembly was simply and quick. Not even 30 minutes. Also, when I had a question about the chair, their support team was quick to respond and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Great quality chair, regardless of the price, period. So well packaged that it took almost as long to unwrap as assemble. Assembly was easy (loved the Allen wrench with sturdy handle). I am 6'2" and the fit and height adjustments work well for my height. Comfort is personal, so I like the semi-firmness of the seat. While the chair is constructed of heavy gauge plastic the base is solid metal with enamel finish: I love the look. The arm rests line up perfectly to my computer keyboard. I expect many, many years of service.
