Het jonge Nieuw Zeelandse wijnbedrijf Misy Cove staat bekend om zuivere en vooral karakteristieke wijnen gemaakt van druiven uit Marlborough en Central Otago. Wijnmaker Andrew Bailey en zijn Nederlandse vrouw Marieke hebben het bedrijf opgericht. Andrew’s droom van de Misty Cove-wijnmakerij werd geboren in Europa en kwam uit na zijn terugkeer in Nieuw-Zeeland. De Misty Cove-wijngaarden bevinden zich op de beste locaties van Marlborough en Central Otago, het meest zuidelijke wijnbouwgebied ter wereld. Bailey focust op de regionale verschillen, die hem de best mogelijke mixmogelijkheden geven om heel bijzondere wijnen te produceren. De druiven zijn afkomstig van zeven strategisch geselecteerde wijngaarden in de Wairau Valley, Rapaura en de Omaka Valley. Twee van de zeven wijngaarden van de Misty Cove-wijnmakerij zijn nu omgezet naar 100% biologische teelt en zijn BioGros NZ-gecertificeerd. De Landmark Chardonnay van Misty Cove is sterk beïnvloed door oude technieken om wijn te maken. Liefdevol met de hand gemaakt in kleine hoeveelheden, hebben ze deze wijn gemaakt om het ‘Oriëntatiepunt’ te weerspiegelen - de attributen en kenmerken van de wijngaard van Fareham Lane waaruit hij afkomstig is. Met de hand geplukt en hele tros rechtstreeks geperst tot 30 procent nieuwe Franse barriques, met het resterende sap rechtstreeks geperst op 1 en 2 jaar oude Franse barriques, en vervolgens gefermenteerd met inheemse gisten.Geniet van een fruitige Chardonnay van Misty Cove
Deze Landmark Chardonnay kleurt lichtgoud in het glas. De geur is karakteristiek voor een klassieke Chardonnay met aroma’s van perzik, meloen, tropisch fruit en wat eikenhout op de achtergrond. Het fruit, hout en de zuren zijn mooi in balans. Zo ook in de fijne afdronk. Deze wijn heeft een volle body en een zachte textuur met een goed gewicht van rijp fruit in evenwicht gehouden door een oordeelkundig gebruik van geroosterd eikenhout. Amazing Cream! Like Magic for Me!
Somehow I triggered an eczema flare, and this time it hit my face. I had little bumps everywhere, my skin felt extremely dry and painful, and even under my eyebrows was sore. I’d only ever used eczema creams for my body, so I had nothing meant for my face.
I searched for a facial option and this had great reviews and photos that made it look like it worked almost instantly. It arrived in one day, and I used it that night. The cream is very smooth, creamy, and incredibly soothing. By the next morning, my face was back to normal.
It did sting slightly when I applied it, but only because my skin was so irritated, not because of any harsh ingredients. The relief was almost immediate. My skin felt soft, smooth, and calm again, and all the irritation cleared up like it was never there.
It has a pleasant scent and is very moisturizing. Honestly, it felt like magic. This was a true lifesaver in the moment, definitely a face saver. It isn’t inexpensive but at the moment anything that worked would’ve been worth the price. I highly recommend it.

Love This Stuff!
I have skin allergies to anything with fragrance, so I get a lot of eczema flare ups. Not only does this not cause flare ups, but it helps soothe any irritation I have on my face. It’s also not too heavy and doesn’t leave a film feeling or cause breakouts like a lot of the other creams I’ve tried with colloidal oatmeal. Really love that they were able to work such a helpful, soothing ingredient into such a nice formula!

Burns
Maybe once you get your eczema under control with some other product, you can use this for maintenance, but it's an absolute misery if you have a bad outbreak of eczema. I have no idea why this thing has alcohol in it but it burns like a star when you put it on severely irritated skin.
Note: I originally gave this 3 stars, but Eczema Honey reached out to me to offer a refund. I didn't take it, but I appreciated that they *would* do that. Plus, my acute outbreak has subsided and it's perfectly fine to use now, so just be warned it hurts to apply if you have an active eczema flareup!
