Rosso rubino carico. Al naso si susseguono profumi di fiori essiccati, macchia mediterranea, note di frutta scura in confettura, té nero, echi di liquirizia e spezie; al sorso è deciso, strutturato, dal tannino deciso e dalla lunga persistenza.Prodotto in Sardegna dalla cantina Santadi, il Carignano del Sulcis Superiore "Terre Brune" ha la particolarità di essere ottenuto esclusivamente da uve provenienti da antiche viti coltivate ad alberello e a piede franco. Dopo la vendemmia rigorosamente manuale, le uve carignano e una piccola percentuale di bovaleddu fermentano in acciaio inox, a cui segue una sosta di almeno 16 mesi in barrique; una volta imbottigliato, affina per altri 12 mesi in bottiglia. Intenso e potente, si abbina a piatti dai sapori decisi.
Accompagna piatti elaborati a base di carni rosse; da provare anche con una selezione di formaggi di lunga stagionatura ed erborinati.
