Description
The 84 Engineering precision ground contact wheels are perfect for a wide range of tasks, from general shaping to knife handle sculpting and profiling. The wheels come equipped with a standard 19mm spigot, which allows for fast and efficient changing between your contact wheel and flat platen.
Additionally, the contact wheels are great for rapid stock removal, thanks to the smaller diameter of the wheel which opens the grain of the belt, exposing fresh grit that simply cannot be utilised in flat platen grinding. The billet aluminium hubs are precision CNC machined using the latest CNC technology, then coated in a premium abrasion-resistant polyurethane rubber – all manufactured in-house. The wheels are then ground concentric for a perfectly smooth and vibration-free grinding experience.

- All 84 Engineering wheels start as a billet 6061 aluminium.
- Hubs are CNC machined to precise tolerances before coating with Polyurethane.
