Kiffen, Knollys, and Keach: Rediscovering our English Baptist HeritageAmong the various Baptist groups that emerged from the religious turmoil of seventeenth century England, the Particular Baptists proved to be the most influential in terms of long term legacy. Among the various Baptist groups that emerged from the religious turmoil of seventeenth-century England, the Particular Baptists proved to be the most influential in terms of long-term legacy. There is a sense in which all English-speaking Baptists, whatever their current theological orientation, can ultimately be traced back to this community. And at the heart of this community were three key leaders: William Kiffen, Hanserd Knollys, and Benjamin Keach. This new edition introduces the lives and thought of each of these men along with their times, other Baptist figures with whom they interacted, and two vital confessions that were published respectively in 1644 and 1688.

______________

“Recent years have seen a revival of publications about the seventeenth-century English Particular Baptists, due in large part to the influence of Michael Haykin. I have long considered the first edition of Kiffin Knollys, and Keach to be a classic introduction to this important era in Baptist life. I am thrilled to see this volume in print again and available to a new audience. The inclusion of new material on the lesser-known John Norcott and his work on believers baptism, which summarizes this community’s collective view, makes this volume a must have for any student of the period.” Steve Weaver, Adjunct Professor of Church History, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

Tea Tree Oil
Size: Tub 8 Ounce
I was trying to find a product to replace Maty's baby diaper rash relief which contains Calendula 3X HPUS & smells nice. Marie Originals is a similar product, only 1X HPUS Calendula & contains Tea tree oil. Although Tea Tree oil is very beneficial- if you or baby gets it in their eyes- it's irritating. This product has a strong Tea tree smell. It is a thick ointment like the discontinued Maty's product. I would buy Marie Originals again. Just wished it smelled better for use on a baby.

Disappointed
Size: Tub 8 Ounce
Not happy with this product. The product fails to give the desired results. I used the entire thing but left disappointed. The price is high for this small amount and on top of that it doesn't help with the diaper rash.

Can be used for more than just diaper rash...
Size: Tub 8 Ounce
We were turned on to using diaper rash ointment for healing cracked heels and rough hands. Our German exchange daughter brought a cream from Germany that was fantastic and we have spent the last fifteen years trying to find something US based that could compare. As grandparents, we also wanted to make sure when we are on deck for diaper duty we use something approved by very picky natural based parents. I figured I would try it out on myself first and frankly my hands need it desperately. The ingredients are natural based, well researched, and used in the top rated diaper rash creams. It is a New York company founded by a woman trying to come up with a burn cream for her daughter years ago. They have a poison oak bar they developed along with other healing creams. After researching it, as I encourage everyone to do on any skin or health product, I felt comfortable enough to give it a go. It comes well sealed in a small jar and is a firm creamy ointment. It smells nice - a little sweet and flowery, but not overwhelming - just a natural scent really. It only takes a scooch and covers well. I was expecting a thick what paste as in diaper creams from back in my day but this is transparent when you put it on. It absorbs nicely but leaves a water shedding quality. My normally rough hands are soft this morning and what I like best is the water shedding properties. I ran my hands under the water just to put it to the test and it did great. I have very sensitive skin and have had no issues. Really a nice cream I feel totally comfortable using myself and on those cute lil baby buns. The company put a lot of care into developing their products and I appreciate it. Oh, one question I would be asking is "is it oily" - It is not. The feeling you get from it is best described as "soft". The con - the writing on the jar is so small (old people can't see) so I relied on being able to blow up the pictures on here. What would be great is if they would add the back of the jar in the pictures too.

easy to use spatula
This two pack of baby spatulas are easy to use and easy to clean. You don't have to worry about getting your fingers sticky or messy when applying creams to your baby. The suction cup on the end is a nice touch so that you can stand these up straight and not get another surface dirty or sticky. Definitely recommend this item to new parents!
