The Rolex Yacht-Master is a fairly new addition to the Rolex catalogue as it was only released in 1992. The Yacht-Master was born when Rolex designers were playing with new Submariner designs but decided the Submariner was too good to change. They continued to brainstorm and came up with the Yacht-Master, a watch designed for navigators of the sea.
The Yacht-Master 40 comes in many different configurations, and this is the only one that features an Oysterflex strap and is composed of just precious metal. This Yacht-Master has a 40mm case, which, in our experience, is perfect for most men, it's big enough to be noticed but still extremely comfortable and flush to the wrist.
The Yacht-Master 40 we have today is sold as a complete and original set, including the original box, papers, booklets and swing tags. The watch is very recently dated and still remains in full factory condition.
