Eliptical /  Double-Jointed

A double-jointed bit consists of three parts, with the middle section resting on the tongue. This design means the double-jointed bit applies more pressure to the tongue than a single-jointed bit, but it distributes pressure more evenly across the bars and corners of the mouth.

Loose Ring

Loose ring bits allow for more freedom of movement within the horse’s mouth. This added flexibility can enhance comfort, especially for horses that prefer a bit with more give. Understanding Color Changes

Sweet Iron bits naturally change color over time as they come into contact with humidity. The vibrant blue surface will transition to a greyish-brown tone due to oxidation.
