A second spool turns one Brookie reel into two complete setups. Pre-rig with different line weights or different line types so you're ready for changing conditions without breaking down rigs streamside. Floating line on the reel, sink tip on the spare. Dry line on one, nymph line on the other. When the hatch changes or the water level drops, you swap the spool in seconds and keep fishing.
