Le Mans 12V Rooftop Ventilator - BlackThis electric fan ensures a healthy supply and exhaust of air in your campervan. The fan is 12 volts and the consumption is 80 watts or about 6 amps. The fan is available in black and white on the exterior and white or grey on the inside. The noise level is 52 DB
This electric fan ensures a healthy supply and exhaust of air in your campervan. The main advantage of the Le Mans roof fan is that it sits only 2.5 inches above your roof (compared to 9.6" inches of the Maxxair!) allowing you to put solar panels over top of the fan.
The fan is 12 volts and the consumption is 80 watts or about 6 amps. The fan is available in black and white on the exterior and white or grey on the inside. The noise level is 52 DB and the speed is 2600 RPM.
The fan comes with a 3-position switch which allows air to go in or out.
These vents open on the inside rather than the outside which is typical of an RV vent. These vents do not include a plenum to bridge the gap (space) between inside of roof and top of ceiling panel. AC foam seal can be used to do this.
The fan does not have a remote control. It does not need a voltage regulator like the Maxxair fans do.
Optional Add-On – Speed Control:
With the speed control, you can adjust the fan to run harder or softer. The unit is suitable for controlling the rotational speed of a DC motor, with a continuous range from 0–100% of the maximum speed. The housing is waterproof, and one speed control can operate one or multiple fans.
