The Hydroponic Chia Microgreens Growing Kit
Looking for the intense nutritional value of chia microgreens? This chia microgreens kit includes everything you need to get started growing healthy chia microgreens. You will be harvesting your own delicious and nutritious microgreens in ten days. Chia microgreens are known for being high in vitamin A, B, C & E, omega fatty acids, minerals, chlorophyll, amino acids and protein.
This kit is a hydroponic kit, which is soil free and minimal mess. Chia Microgreens can be grown on any kitchen countertop, indoors or out. While the seeds in this kit can be grown in soil, we prefer the hydroponic approach for its clean and reliable results.
Each Chia Microgreens Kit Includes:
- 4 - 20”x10” Growing Trays – These re-usable trays double as both growing tray and black-out dome. Our hydroponic approach doesn’t require drain holes in the trays, so no water concerns for countertop gardening. Enough trays to run 3 crops at once.
- 6 – 20”x10” Hydroponic Grow Pads – These pads fit perfectly in the growing trays and are the best way we have found to grow microgreens. Enough to grow 6 trays worth of microgreens. Extra grow pads are available.
- pH Test Strip Kit – Microgreens are sensitive to the pH of your water. This pH Testing Kit will easily walk you through the process of testing the pH of your water, and adjusting it (if necessary) using household products like lemon juice.
- Spray Bottle – For the first 4 days, your germinating microgreens should be misted. This spray bottle is the perfect tool.
- 8 Oz of Chia Seeds – Enough chia microgreens seeds for 6 to 10 plantings! Chia is a mucilaginous seed, which means it develops a sticky jelly-like coating when wet. It needs to be misted to keep it damp, but is otherwise very easy to grow.
- Growing Instructions – Our basic illustrated growing instructions are meant to help you get started and are intended to be used in conjunction with information found on the website.

Ok - so I do not have a dog!!! I purchased this item for a completely different purpose! I saw someone using this to gather eggs!! I often go to my daughter and son-in-law's homestead to carry out the chores when they need to be out of town! Well, I am a bit on the short side (4'11") and some of the hens KNOW that a short person is going to be gathering eggs!!! I simply could not reach all of the eggs in a couple of the nesting boxes! So, after seeing someone else use this ball launcher as an egg retriever, I bought one! I am now able to reach ALL of the eggs - one at a time with no breakage! It was a game changer for me.
I am sure that it works equally well for dog play!!!

Essential kit for those with fetch dogs
Size: 18in, Style: Sport
Now in our 3rd year, my Brittany and I are down to about 40 fetch tosses a day, some 14,600 tosses a year. The Chuck It launcher wears well, so, figure at least 5 years of use, for 73,000 tosses. That makes for a terrific value!
There are several key benefits of the Chuck It launchers: One is that you can chuck the ball further than you can throw, which allows you to exercise your dog more easily. The second is that you can pick up and launch the ball without touching it, which means NO slime! And, the Chuck It also gives extra reach when you have to retrieve a ball from sticker brambles.
Those are great features for anyone with a fetch dog. If you also happen to have a weak arm or shoulder, the Chuck It launchers provide nice throwing options. I generally throw underhanded. I can't get the full potential range, that way, but, I still get good, long tosses. I curl my second finger above the last bump on the handle, and use a good wrist flick along with arm swing. I've seen others throw side-arm with the Chuck It.
I had originally written a second review for the longer 25M Chuck It. Either I, or Amazon messed up, and it looks like I can have only this one review. So, here are my additional thoughts on the 25M: I bought the 25M so that I could throw the ball even further! The good news is, you really can chuck further, with the longer chucker. The bad news is, those longer throws do require more arm and shoulder strength than when using the 18M. This becomes more obvious when you've done 3 or 4 dozen throws. I would recommend the 25M only for those with the youth and/or strength to get the most out of it. Otherwise, I'd say, go with the 18M.

Must Have for Tiring Out Your Pup
