Machine Setup:
- Machine comes setup for use as a slow or medium speed Liner. Also works well as a quick Shader if you turn down the volts a little. To easily change to a slow and punchy color packer, simply remove the backer spring under the front spring.
- Standard Needle on Bar: standard coil machine set up. Work well with our Thick Rubber Bands and Dan's Perfect Nipples, but also work with standard nipples/grommets.
- Cartridges: possible, but not highly recommended.

"Since working with Workhorse Irons, I have been given the opportunity to remaster my Revival machine, but being able to merge it into the platform of Adam Ciferri’s Ghostdog.
There have been many things I’ve learned from the original Revival, along with many more years experience with the compression spring/bearing pivot. Combine that with a superior magnetic circuit that Adam and Workhorse have dialed in, and you get something quite magical. We are very pleased with the performance, versatility, and ergonomics of this machine.
It’s functional voltage range starts at around 4.5 volts, and keeps going up without chatter or excessive heat. With the engineering that went into the spring setup, the user does not have to settle for squishy nipples to prevent their springs from breaking.
This machine comes stock as a strong, medium speed liner (or fast shader) at around 105-110 cps loaded (about 125-130 cps unloaded). Because of the large voltage range, it is capable of all size needle groupings. (*the contact screw can be backed out to run in the 90 cps range as well). For a slappier, punchier hit, the backer spring under the contact spring can be removed.
I have put much attention into the weight distribution, to put the weight forward and low, providing superior stability, and preventing wrist fatigue.

Finish looks great. The light tint makes for a more even distribution. The smell is pleasant. SPF will help protect the face from the sun. I would purchase this again.

Replaced 3 products
This is a very good product. Everyday I use CeraVe lightweight 30 or 50 spf and mix Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi and B-Goldi drops for a tint and shimmer. This is the only “makeup” I wear as I don’t like heavy makeup and prefer just a subtle glow with a daily sunscreen. This product effectively replaces all of those products for me. I put this on to try yesterday afternoon and my husband immediately said “Did you do something different? You look good.”
It’s is a little more runny than I expected but applies thinly (as I prefer) and provides just enough tint to cover some of my redness. The glow is beautiful. Love the packaging, the pump is very easy to manage and keep clean.
Too soon to know if it will cause breakouts or how well it holds up in the sun (although my other experiences with SunBum have been that it works well). I will update my review if I have breakouts.

Edited to add: a dermatologist complimented my skin due to this product “your skin looks great, you’re glowing!” I have not had breakouts from using this product. I still use everyday with a little cream blush and mascara and call it good. I stock up when this goes on sale but even when not on sale it is a great price. Still not 100% sure about it’s effectiveness at sun protection although I’m pretty sure it’s better than nothing. Wish this exact product was available in 50 spf. Still a fave!
