Wrap yourself in softness—or add a touch of elegance to your home—with this rich sea blue and navy mélange throw, hand-dyed and handcrafted in Ireland. Its tonal palette and brushed finish create a piece that feels both contemporary and timeless.
Woven in Graiguenamanagh, Ireland, by the artisans of Cushendale Woollen Mills, this throw is made from a sumptuous blend of Italian mohair and wool. The mohair yarn, sourced from the Angora goat, is hand-dyed in small batches at a historic mill dating back to 1204. This delicate process preserves the fiber’s natural softness while producing a deep, dimensional color unique to each piece.
The brushed mohair fibers gently trap air, making the throw remarkably lightweight, breathable, and warm—perfect for cozying up or styling across a sofa or bed. A dark blue contrasting fringe adds a modern visual detail, finishing this heirloom-worthy design with subtle character.

💛 Why We Love It:
The deep blues feel both calming and bold, while the texture is irresistibly soft. It’s a throw that brings heritage and modern design together—warming your space with true Irish artistry.
About the Artisan
Cushendale Woollen Mills (est. 1778) sits along the River Barrow in Graiguenamanagh, a town with more than 800 years of textile tradition. Still family-run, Cushendale is one of the last mills in Ireland to dye, spin, and weave on-site. Both the mill and town are part of the World Crafts Council–designated Craft City & Region, one of only four in Europe.
About Mohair
Among the world’s oldest natural fibers, mohair is prized for its luminous sheen, durability, and exceptional warmth. Sourced from the Angora goat, this “diamond fiber” remains one of the most luxurious and exclusive textiles available today.
