How It Works
The tester measures the vertical movement of the vehicle's sprung mass, using both the damping ratio method and the rebound (bounce count) method. The two readings are combined to rate each shock absorber, removing the guesswork from a visual inspection. The unit is self-aligning and identifies its own orientation at the start of every test.

Usage Notes
- The vehicle should be stationary and the shock absorbers warmed up (vehicle in motion for at least 5 minutes within the last 30 minutes) for an accurate result.
- Ensure all four tyre pressures are set to the manufacturer's recommendation before testing.
- Keep the suction cups clean; dirt can mark paint or cause a loose grip.
- The unit is not water-resistant. Keep it dry and charge fully before first use.
