Lauren is the Designer, Maker and Founder of Lauren Holloway - Sustainable Bags & Accessories handmade in Bristol. Her journey started in 2013 when she dug out a dusty vintage Singer sewing machine and taught herself how to make bags. She created her first collection from the bedroom of her flat, opened an Etsy shop and the rest is history! She loves the whole process of designing and making - from coming up with the initial idea to handpicking each element from fabrics to hardware, focusing not only on functionality but on aesthetics and originality. Her aim is to create beautiful products that are made with care and attention to detail with a focus on sustainable and ethical manufacturing. Lauren has always been inspired by her travels around the globe, especially the beautiful patterns of Japan and the bold, colourful fabrics of Bali. Her aim is to create sustainable, unique and practical bags that reflect your values and bring a little sunshine into your world!
