The PTS® Enhanced Polymer Magazine, or EPM for short, is a new type of mid-cap polymer magazine for AEG airsoft replicas. The EPM is a truly unique magazine, both internally and externally. On the outside, it features a Dupont Zytel polymer shell with recessed panels for improved grip and unique guides on the magazine neck that reduce snagging when removing or reinserting the magazine into pouches or mag carriers.

The mock 5.56 round window is not just for show. When the magazine is fully loaded, an orange follower appears at the bottom of the transparent window. This is a notable and exclusive EPM design feature, as it allows the user to immediately see if the magazine is fully loaded and ready for use. It also serves as a visual indicator to know when to stop loading the magazine.

Another standout feature of the magazine is the base plate. The underside of the base plate has been designed with an angled surface and a rubberized coating on the bottom face. This combination allows the user to rest the airsoft replica on a flat shooting surface with greater contact and traction, providing increased stability. The surface angle has been minimized to remain functional while still being comfortable to hold or when pulling the magazine from pouches, without interfering with the closure of flap-style mag carriers.
