These plugs are made up of a strong producing commercial oyster strain that produces many mushrooms. Phoenix oyster mushrooms have a mild flavor with a hint of sweet, and can be used in any recipes that call for oyster mushrooms. Recommended tree species; Aspen, Poplar, Cottonwood, Balsam Poplar, Hackberry, Mulberry, Willows, Birch , Tallow, Buckeye, Tree of Heaven. DO NOT grow on Walnut, Elm, Black Locust, Ash and Larch/Tamarac.
