Abby Akerman believes in the Universe. After all, her Midwest high school marching band is about to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City--if that's not proof that magical things can happen, what is? New York also happens to be the setting of her favorite romance novel, making it the perfect place for Abby to finally tell her best friend Kat that she's in love with her (and, um, gay). She's carefully annotated a copy of the book as a gift for Kat, and she's counting on the Universe to provide an Epic Scene worthy of her own rom-com. Leo Brewer, on the other hand, just wants to get through this trip without falling apart. He doesn't believe the Universe is magical at all, mostly because he's about to be outed to his very Southern extended family on national TV as the trans boy he really is. He's not excited for the parade, and he's even less excited for an entire day of sightseeing with his band. But the Universe has other ideas. When fate throws Abby and Leo together on the wrong subway train, they soon find themselves lost in the middle of Manhattan. Even worse, Leo accidentally causes Abby to lose her Epic Gift for Kat. So to salvage the day, they come up with a new mission: find a souvenir from every location mentioned in the book for Abby to give Kat instead. But as Leo and Abby traverse the city, from the streets of Chinatown to the halls of Grand Central Station and the top of the Empire State Building, their initial expectations for the trip--and of each other--begin to shift. Don't leave home without it!

This sunscreen has been a lifesaver for me. I'm an avid kayaker, have a very fair complexion and hate wearing hats, so I'd be toast (literally) without this. I'm also now allergic to fragrance and several commonly used preservatives, so to find that this sunscreen has no fragrance and none of the suspect additives was a joy. It goes on lightly, rubs in easily and seems to really hold up protecting my skin for 2-3 hour trips on the lake. I never leave home without it. The only drawback I have is that it's sometimes cumbersome, or difficult to get the top to line up correctly in order to spray it and it can be unwieldy trying to do this with one hand. I haven't found anything better, and really appreciate that it's available and not at an outrageous price either.

spray top lids fail after a few uses

This sunscreen is awesome. It stays on for a long time, even when swimming. It has almost no odor, which is great if you don't want to walk around with that summer sun screen smell. The reason I am giving this only one star is because of the canister. The spray top lid is very hard to press, and only works a few times before completely jamming, rendering the product useless. This is a huge problem if you are taking it on a river float, or camping where you can't just run out to the store and get another one if it stops working. I love this sunscreen and I really wish I could make it my summer go to, but have had so many of the lids malfunction that I will never buy this product again. It is expensive for sunscreen. They should figure out their packaging.

a fave

Disappears into skin quickly, feels like nothing, looks like nothing (no white residue, streaks or discoloration). The fragrance free truly is. I reapply after a couple of hours or prolonged time in salt water even though I don't _feel_ like I need to (I'm not naturally pale) and have not had any burns since I started using Alba products, whereas before, I got occasional burns even from the better, former favorite, brands. I love this brand and the products are prominent on my subscribe and save lists.
Once in a blue moon, the spray lid sticks and the can goes in the trash. BUT this happens once in a blue moon with just about every brand I've tried.

Great, when the can works

This is the only sunscreen I buy anymore. Clear, easy to use and no significant smell. Plus air powered spray and biodegradable.
No of which matters, though, when the can won't spray at all or just gives a weak spray that leaves sunscreen in wet spots or no coverage on your arms. Too expensive to not work.

excellent for oily or acne prone skin

my skin type is highly reactive to sunscreen and I often have to juggle the desire for sun protection with awful break outs the next day. this is so far the only spray sunblock that's not stupid expensive that hasn't caused acne.
only complaint is that it seems there's not much of the actual product in the can, but that could be due to the fact that I use a lot of it. 10/10
