How do you create the perfect personal microclimate during high pace activities? Warmth, weight and breathability are the critical factors and with Men’s Pace Flow Houdi, we are taking a great leap forward in balancing this equation. It’s the perfect insulation garment for high pace activities all year around.

How does it work?
Men’s Pace Flow Houdi is made with Polartec® Power Dry® Mesh, a lightweight mesh fabric that creates insulation without trapping excess heat or vapor. When you wear it as an outer layer it will let air flow through the garment and vent out any excess heat or moisture. When you wear it underneath a shell layer it will build a powerful layer of warm air that provides an exceptional level of insulation, especially considering the low weight.

When should I use it?
Men’s Pace Flow Houdi is a garment designed for high pace activities during all four seasons of the year. Wear it over your t-shirt for that extra warmth on a chilly morning run or workout in the summer. As a part of a layering system it’s the perfect garment for ski touring, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in the winter. High insulation, low weight and exceptional breathability, that’s the magic formula.

Pace Flow Houdi is made with 100% recycled polyester and is fully recyclable. Thanks to its filament fiber construction, it only sheds a fraction of microfibers compared to regular fleece. When your Pace Flow Houdi is worn out, please return it to Houdini for recycling.

When washing clothes made of synthetic fabrics, the use of a washing bag becomes even more important: It prevents microplastics from entering into rivers and oceans.

Air clothes instead of washing to save water, energy and to make the garments last longer.
Use a washing bag to protect your garments and to prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe it clean and throw the lint in your trash can. Never rinse it in water since we don’t want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
Machine wash, max 40 °C/104 °F.
Use mild environmentally certified detergents and make sure to use the right dose.
Avoid fabric softener. Besides being harmful for our environment, they have a negative impact on the garment performance, mainly moisture transportation and breathability.
Tumble dry on low heat.
Iron on low heat.

Sort of good for tough chewers??
Color: Deep Roots Carrot - Small, Size: Small Dog
The actual carrot part (orange part) is tough chewer approved and my dog loves. It’s basically the same shape and size as his kong. However the leaves (green part) is not tough chewer approved. He ripped ALL those leaves off and ate them within 5 minutes of me giving him the toy. However they passed through him fine.

Pretty hard to clean
Color: Cinamutt Roll - Large, Size: Large
We've had this for about a week now. I have 2 dogs, one small one about 55lb. I bought this for my big girl, but lil man is determined to get the best of this toy. Usually they don't both go after the same toys, so this is interesting. The trouble is, neither one of them can get all the treats out if something makes it all the way down into the crevice. It's surprisingly deep. The up side is that they'll try for quite a while before giving up. The down side is even if you put it in the top rack of the dishwasher, something stuck deep in there isn't going anywhere until you dig it out yourself. I tried a plastic knife but it broke the second time I used it in there. I wound up using the metal handle of a reusable straw cleaner. Which then I had to wash that, too. Then it needs to dry overnight before it can be used again. All in all, the dogs like it fine, it's gross to scrape out and wash, takes longer than most toys to dry, and I have the feeling that will eventually cause me to pass it to someone else's dog long before my two have gotten tired of it. At this point I'm pulling out of the toy rotation for a week or two because I'm not ready to clean it a third time.
