Feels like sitting around a fire

I didn’t think I’d ever get through these stories, but this translation made it feel like someone was telling them to me, not lecturing. The battles in The Iliad felt sharp and real, and the long journey in The Odyssey pulled me in without getting lost in heavy words. I found myself looking forward to picking it up each day, and the flow kept me engaged instead of exhausted.
