A Capsule Made For The Road
Retro 64 solves the two biggest problems with live vocal mics: trusted, mid-focused sound, and durability. Retro 64’s capsule is tuned to hit the upper-midrange just right, while rolling off enough highs to keep speakers from squealing - just like the most tried-and-true dynamic live mics. Inside the mic, an internal shockmount keeps the capsule safe for any live environment - mosh pits included.
Throwback Design, Rugged Construction
The Retro 64 external design is inspired by vintage broadcast mics known for their hammer-like durability, even allegedly strong enough to hammer nails into wood without harming the microphone. Modern construction methods including the addition of an internal shockmount ensure the Retro 64 can handle anything the road throws at it.
