The aFe Mach Force XP Jeep "Y-pipe" is designed to connect the stock converter with either the stock exhaust or aFes Mach FORCE XP exhaust system. Designed also to accommodate aftermarket lift kits, this y-pipe features 2 x 2" into 1 x 2 1/2" stainless steel mandrel-bent tubing with OE flanges and 100-percent hand-MIG welded construction that resists corrosion. To eliminate dead space that can cause turbulence and hindering flow that formed collectors are prone to produce, a true merged collector is used. The smooth curves and increased diameter helps remove restriction and keeps exhaust gas flowing smoothly for improved performance and durability on and off the trails. Hopefully This One Will Stop the Critters
This appears to be a nice filter. We have had problems with mice getting in the vehicle through the air vent intake. This is another poor design of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. We had the same issue with an earlier year of the same model and I ended up putting a grill in front to prevent the critters from coming in. I’m hoping this ai filter will be more effective as it is significantly stiffer than other filters. I think the critters are able to lift the end of the filter to slip by and get in the cab. Time will tell, but I do like this one for potentially being more difficult to go by. I would hope Stelantis would fix this, but I won’t hold my breath.
