Fitment Notes
The 1989 Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird underwent a mid-cycle revision for the Brake Proportioning Valve. The two different valves are identical on the outside but have a different thread pitch. The ONLY way to identify which thread pitch your Camaro/Firebird is equipped with is to loosen the Master Cylinder Lines and check the fittings! First Design has Fine Threads and Second Design has Coarse Threads. Please see the image attached to this product for an example!
This kit (FKT8901SS) is only for the Second Design Models, if you have the First Design please see FKT8601SS!
If you have a V8 Second Design please see FKT8902SS!
If you have a V8 AND a First Design, please see FKT8602SS!

Our Front Brake Line Kits include your master cylinders and your lines going to your left and right front wheels. All lines come Pre-Bent and flared with the correct threaded fittings which reduces your install time. Our stainless steel lines are a special blended T304 that helps prevent any possible leaks.
