A bunded tank design is essentially a tank within a tank and allows for the safe, secure, and environmentally-conscious storage of heating oil. This will protect your oil in the event of the inner tank splitting and will also stop oil from seeping into the surrounding area, causing damage to the environment and resulting in expensive clean-up costs.

The bund holds a minimum 110% volume of the inner tank while the strong, protective layer provided by the bund makes the tank stronger for reliable oil storage as well as inhibiting the build-up of rainwater and debris.
