Material(s): Pendant is oxidized sterling silver 18K yellow gold, and 14K rose gold. Bail (hook) is 14K rose gold. White and blue diamonds are set in 18K yellow gold.
Rolo chain is oxidized sterling silver (.925).
Pendant/Chain Measurement(s): Pendant is 1 5/8" long and 3/4" wide. Rolo chain is included, 22" long.
Description/Artist Notes: The oxidized sterling silver is formed using hammers and anvils, creating the rolling waves and curves in the metal (reminiscent of a lily pad). A flower bud is molded and cast in 14K rose gold, creating the detail at the bottom of the pendant. The detail at the top of the pendant is created by taking a piece of a lily flower and casting it in sterling silver.
Colored diamonds are colorless when mined from the earth. They then undergo a treatment called irradiation, to permanently create the colored diamond. Irradiated diamonds are not radioactive and will not fade. The enhancement does not affect the price and is an affordable option compared to naturally occurring colored diamonds, which are extremely rare.
