The frame was removed complete from Polegate signal box on its closure several years ago and is complete with its later fitted direct tappet interlocking. The frame has its large level crossing gate wheel support bracket intact and the frame has some of its original support truss too. The frame weighs in excess of 3 tons and will

This London Brighton & South coast Railway 20 lever frame was manufactured by Saxby & Farmer in the late 19th century. The frame was removed complete from Polegate signal box on its closure several years ago and is complete with its later fitted direct tappet interlocking. The frame has its large level crossing gate wheel support bracket intact and the frame has some of its original support truss too. The frame weighs in excess of 3 tons and will require a 17 ton lorry with HIAB to lift and transport it. The frame is stored at a location in Worcestershire. Viewing can be arranged by appointment so please call our shop. We can arrange a transport company to undertake its removal and delivery to your delivery location within U K mainland.
