2018 release. Rock 'n' roll is dead in New York City. Long live New York City rock and roll. Mick's Jaguar is bringing noisy, wild, unafraid big rock back to NYC. Crazy rents, corporatized venues, and kids listening to DJs: it's hard being a band in this town. This isn't LA and Mick's Jaguar is a product of their environment: a windowless dungeon practice space twenty feet below the trash covered sidewalk of the Lower East Side. Rats, grime, the sounds of the city; the band gleefully pillages the history of rock music to create thoroughly modern, but classic rock 'n' roll. Not quite punk, but not metal either, this is hard rock 'n' roll that's been put through the brain blenders of six musicians who pair their Judas Priest shirts with Steely Dan hats. They claim no musical lineage to New York - they just live there. The night AC/DC played CBGB's would be about as close a comparison as one can get. The three guitarists - yes, three guitars - open the album with a riff of buzzsaw intensity that would make a Ramone proud. But then like Jim Morrison sashaying into a wine shop, it drunkenly careens into a big sounding rock 'n' roll album somewhere in between Van Halen and Tres Hombres. Songs about life, death, cars, blood, murder, sex, drugs and booze are their world. Recorded in Brooklyn at Figure 8 Recording by engineering wizard Philip Weinrobe, and fueled by a steady diet of Allen's Coffee Brandy, the Fame And Fortune sessions resulted in only one hospital visit and it just might be the favorite album of 1978, 1988, or 2018.

More power than I expected from a 20v cordless machine. And with the 4Ahr battery it comes with, I was able to do the drive, walks, and patio without having to change batteries. I own 2 Worx string trimmers, chainsaw, hedge trimmer, drill impact driver, and leaf blower. Love them all.

Problematic instructions

The product is great once u figure out how to assemble. The instructions don’t do it. I was not happy. Every part was a challenge. The instruction book only shows a photo but not how to get it to look like the photo.

Loved Lucky & Lexie!!

Oh my, what an absolutely amazing book!! It’s such an emotional, poignant, and heartfelt romance and Bella has really out done herself! Geez, once you I started this book I could not put it down. Lucky Beneventi and Lexie Sinclair been friends from childhood. There has always been a connection between them, yet there was also something that kept them as friends … even if they both craved for more.
Lexie is returning home from Paris after spending time there studying at Le Cordon Bleu. Returning home she will be the new baker at Sweet Temptations. The past year away from home Lexie has become independent. Learning to live her life on her own terms in spite of her having Cystic Fibrosis. Excited to be back home Lexie is still a bit nervous about sharing the house with former BFF, Lucky.
Lucky is now the star QB for the Kings and teammate and best friend with Lexie’s brother Linc. Though Lucky may have always had is eye on Lexie it was the unwritten rule that she was off limits for him because of her brothers. Needless to say, this has led to Lucky becoming a big-time ladies’ man. But what happens when Lexie returns from Paris and they find they are now become roommates?
It doesn’t take long for Lucky and Lexie to have an unexpected late-night meeting. It didn’t take long for them to fall into easy conversation… along with a bit of bantering. It felt good to see them both open up and ease back into their old familiar friendship. But was it truly just the friendship in which they were interested?
Lexie had always wanted Lucky to see her beyond just being friends. At the same time she had a real issue with having CF that kept her from pursuing more than friendship with Lucky. Little did she know that Lucky had always had visions of her being his endgame!! It was heartbreaking just how vulnerable Lexie was when it came to having a romantic relationship.
Even though Lexie would fight Lucky pushing to have more with her, once he got beyond that wall, I loved just how caring and devoted he was to her. The chemistry between Lucky and Lexie was just so freaking electrifying!! And to see how thoughtful and caring Lucky was… ~swoon!!~~ These two were meant to be together.
There were many other things I loved too!! The group text messages and camaraderie that were always going back and forth… This is one of the things that Bella does so well in her books. Family/friendships and extended family. Plus, all that love that you feel from them.
