Back in 2006 K-Tuned originally designed their K-Series Water Plate Kit that ran D/B Series alternator. They have revisited the project to breathe some new life into it. K-Tuned constantly strives to improve and bring the very best to their customers and racers. The original design is still for sale today and that will not change. However, they have brought some nice new options with the ability to run a k-series alternator. The V2 kit can be installed on your original K-Tuned Water Plate *EXCLUDING* some original designs for those who want to upgrade to a k-series alternator.
For several years now racers have used electric water pumps to reduce the power robbing effects of parasitic drag from their engines. The reason is pretty simple, by reducing the number of accessories the crank needs to turn there can be some noticeable and impressive gains. The K-Tuned Water Pump Block Off Plate system was designed to setup a K-series engine to use an electric water pump cooling system. It replaces all of the bulky and heavy OEM accessories with a simple lightweight aluminum plate. The original alt bracket setup was designed to hold the older and lighter B or D series alternator and works well. The only difference is a little extra work for installation, so we decided to design a compatible alternator bracket setup that works with the original oem K-Series alternator.
This updated kit features a fully adjustable tensioner with an integrated pulley that mounts cleanly on the left side of our original Water Plate. The lower alt bracket then easily bolts up to existing holes on most K20 and K24A engine blocks. The result is a setup that is much simpler to install, with no additional parts or wiring needed. With the new version of this kit, they have upgraded their mounting hardware to include a larger ARP upper alternator mounting bolt, as well as 2 sets of larger bolts depending on which style K series alternator you have, for the lower mounting bracket. There are 2 mounting positions available to allow proper fitment with most stock crank pulleys. For the alternator, they made a lightweight CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum alternator pulley to replace the heavy oem unit. They have also included a custom length 7-rib belt, that fits with most oem crank pulleys and all hardware for installation. As a final bonus, check out their custom billet water pump bracket, it has been designed to hold the K-Tuned electric water pump right beside the plate setup. Just like the other brackets, this bolts up perfectly to existing holes on most K20 and K24A engine blocks. K-Tuned can now confidently say that the K-Tuned Water Plate Kit is more complete than ever.

A simple book with a powerful message!
If you are looking for a laymen’s guide on the arguments for the resurrection of Jesus, from every conceivable angle, then this book is for you. Habermas and Licona are two Bible scholars that have joined forces to provide both new and mature believer with everything they need to know to share their faith and knowledge on the resurrection of Jesus.
One of the great strengths of the book is that right from the start Habermas and Licona give us what they believe is a very powerful strategy for sharing the story of the resurrection which they call a “minimal facts approach.” The great advantage of this approach is that we can stick to the topic of the resurrection and not get sidetracked to issues on the reliability of the Bible. In addition this approach considers only those data that are so strongly attested historically that almost every scholar (including the skeptical ones) accept their truthfulness.
Under this approach the authors suggest that the first four facts below are almost universally accepted by all types of scholars while the fifth fact is accepted by a majority of scholars:
1. Jesus died by crucifixion.
2. Jesus’ disciples believed that he rose and appeared to them.
3. The church persecutor Paul was suddenly changed.
4. The skeptic James, brother of Jesus, was suddenly changed.
5. The tomb was empty.
The book also discusses the many different theories that skeptics have used down through the centuries to debunk the resurrection of Jesus. Some of the most popular theories include: the resurrection being a legend, the disciples stole the body, the witnesses went to the wrong tomb, the apparent death theory and the hallucination hypotheses. One by one Habermas and Licona give detailed reasons why each theory fails to align with the five minimal facts shared above. Throughout the book the authors appeal to both biblical and extra-biblical sources to make their case.
I especially enjoyed reading Chapter 8 – Naturally Speaking. In this chapter science, miracles and near-death experiences are discussed and the reader comes away with the realization that God does indeed exist.
Throughout the book a myriad of charts help to summarize each different idea and theory making it easy to remember the main arguments used to equip the believer with everything they need to make the case for the resurrection of Jesus.
I also found the chapter on People Skills especially practical in helping to prepare us with the wisdom we need to share everything we have learned in the book with skeptics and non-believers.
The appendix provides a very detailed outline of all the arguments and is the perfect refresher course for the book. The many pages of notes are an excellent source for anyone desiring to go deeper into the material. Finally the interactive game CD is a great way to reinforce many of the ideas from the book and is a fun way to help remember important themes.
