On an island there is nowhere to hide. That's why these ghost stories scare and delight us so much. The Outer Banks is full of life and death tales, but death doesn't always mean the end of the tale. Haunting The Outer Banks has thirteen tales from North Carolina's coast. Readers will discover the spectral tales of houses haunted by owners long dead, but still lingering in the shadows. Is there the spirit of a young girl that haunts the Whalehead Club in Corolla? Do the sad, restless spirits of the lost still walk the beaches at Nags Head and Hatteras, searching forever for their ships, sunk by the churning waves of the Atlantic? Read their stories here.Discover the tales that have been told across this thin ribbon of sand, from Corolla to Ocracoke, of pirates getting their bloody ends, only to be cursed to haunt the land and sea, or of a witch that brought fortune, good and bad, to locals according to her whim. Currituck, Bodie Island, and Hatteras Lighthouses all have ghosts that haunt them, even a supernatural animal that wanders in the shadow of Cape Hatteras. Roanoke Island shares its story of spooky hoodoos that chase children when they come out to play at night. Lock the doors, turn on the lights, and check the beach for ghosts. Then open the book and prepare to be scared.Binding Type: Paperback

Good toy, watch the string part
Good for the price! The rope did end up breaking off because my dogs chewed through it, but my dogs still play with the ball. The ball part can be loud if your dog throws it around on the floor. The ball is super tough and my dogs have yet to chew through it.

DURRABLE BALL
mY LAB/GOLDEN MIX MADE SHORT WORK OF THE ROPE BUT THE BALL IS SOLID. THE BACK COLOR MAKES IT AN INDOOR BALL IN THIS AREA; iT WOULD BE EASILY LOST IN THE BRUSH/WOODS SURROUNDING MY HOUSE.

Dogs love these!
Pros: keeps the dog entertained both solo and tug of war.
Super entertaing to watch the dog beat itself half to death with a big grin on it face.
Cons: dog will beat everything else to death too. You're basically giving your dog a wrecking ball. Similar to giving rubber nunchucks to a hyper 8yr old kid.
If you dont own much nice stuff or you keep it all out of reach you should be fine.
