Many with an interest in the Orthodox Western Rite will know of the work done by St John Maximovitch in supporting the Western Orthodox communities in France in the latter half of the 20th century. The mission of these communities has grown and flourished in the decades since then.
This present volume is an a__empt to bring something of the beauty of this tradition to the daily spiritual lives of Orthodox Christians in the anglophone world, to aid the faithful in entering more fully into union with God, and keeping their faith at the heart of their lives when not gathered for public worship.
