Crafted in beautiful soft leather, our gorgeous new wingtip brogue boots for women offer a twist to the more subtle Capri chelsea boots. With a side zip for easier access, and brogue detailing and lacing for added interest, these boots are comfortable, practical and with a flattering shape to elongate your legs.
A true country classic, these boots can be dressed up for smart occasions, or worn casually with jeans, and are the perfect accoutrement to a stylish wardrobe.

Like the Capri, the Florence wingtip boot is super versatile and can be worn all year round.
For a classic country look, team them with thick socks and trousers for a winter walk, but add them to shorts or a mini skirt with thick tights, and they can give an edgy flair to your outfit.
Stitched leather sole and stacked leather heel
The sole is stitched onto the upper using a traditional and refined Italian method called Blake stitching. This allows the sole to be easily replaced when it eventually wears but we've used a rubber studded sole as well, to aid longevity and grip.
There is a 27mm genuine-leather stacked heel, with 6 brass pins and a rubber piece, again for longer wear and better grip. We've even added an embossed Thomas Bird logo in the waist of the sole too, a distinctive feature of our brand.
Materials and craftsmanship
We work with the finest Italian artisan shoemakers who showcase their expertise in cutting, shaping, stitching and dying leathers, skilled crafts that have been handed down through the generations.
With attention to detail being paramount, leathers are carefully selected by weight and pliability and cut to form the pattern to fit the last. Then several stages of dying, polishing and burnishing create the depth and richness of the classic brown colour.

Italy is renowned for the quality and style innovation of its beautiful leathers and components used in the shoemaking process.
