What Mortazavi and Burnt Friedman have in common is their shared expertise in uneven, cyclical rhythms - the foundation of their trance-like art music, which is both subtle and ecstatic. Through repetition and improvisation in the studio they create "numbers" - groove-based pieces played on a variety of drums mixed with electronics. This results in a precisely timed harmony between the electronic sounds and live grooves. Thanks to the extreme acoustic range of the Tombak and his extravagant technique, Mortazavi merges perfectly with Friedman's signature sound and repertoire, which seems to belong to no specific place or time.

A great collection, but fails to cast Black Panther as a superhero
There are some great things about this collection of stories: women are well represented in lead roles; backstories for Miles Morales, Steve Rogers, Carol Danvers, and Tony Stark; stories that incorporate Black men as role models; and the important role technology plays in many of the stories.
Now for our big disappointment. The Black Panther story is not about T'Challa becoming Black Panther, but more about Spider Man fighting Kraven, and once disarmed, Black Panther making him, "pay for the crimes [he has] committed against the animal kingdom," by delivering "the final blow." This did not sound like superhero/ role model behavior to us. I also found it strange that all the background characters in this story were white. That is not the New York city I know.

Overall, my son enjoys reading these stories and looking at the pictures. Though we will need to continue our search for a good Black Panther story, we are glad we bought this collection of stories, with the Miles Morales becoming Spider-Man story my son's new favorite.

Very cute
Very cute Winnie the Pooh bear. It has a rattle in it. I’m looking forward to giving this to my future grandbaby very original looking a very good price. It is soft and I think it’s perfect for little hands.

Definitely for a Baby
This little Pooh is as described and definitely for a baby. I had hoped to gift it to an adult but upon receipt, I realized while it is a lovely gift for a baby, it would not relate well for an adult. The ears crunch and there is a sweet rattle inside. It’s very soft and a baby would find it comforting.
